Benefits of Geo Tube Stabilization
Restore Lost Property — Customers regain up to 4 feet of shoreline previously lost to erosion
Prevent Future Erosion — Permanent stabilization protects against storm water runoff and wave action
Environmental Protection — Keeps irrigation and rain runoff free from fertilizers, silt, and contaminants
Natural Appearance — Finished product offers a manicured shoreline look compared to traditional retaining walls or rip-rap
Reduced Liability — Safe for foot traffic, greatly reducing slip & fall risks
Protect Infrastructure — Prevents damage to cart paths, sidewalks, and building foundations
Minimal Site Disturbance — Work performed from the water using on-site materials, minimizing disruption to adjacent property
Before
AfterHow Geo Tube Installation Works

Site Assessment
Evaluate water levels, soil conditions, and access points
Tube Placement
Position geo filter tubes along the shoreline and secure with stakes or rebar
Sand Fill
Use our dredge barge to fill geo tubes with sand that is dredged from the adjacent waterbody. This process improves storm water capacity as well.
Stacking & Shaping
Additional geo tubes are filled and stacked until the bank is stabilized properly.
Grading & Vegetation
After grading to a 4:1 slope, the lake bank is sodded or planted, restoring the natural appearance.
Because our system is flexible, it easily forms to the contours of the land—eliminating the invasive procedures required for break walls, retaining walls, or rip-rap.
